Northside School
Designed for a public school district, the Northside School (pre-K - 8) is a demonstration project for student accessibility and small-school approach. Plywood ceilings line the roof for the length of the building, folding to enhance light and shadow and mark programmed spaces.
Clusters of classrooms form learning neighborhoods with a mix of grade levels. Indoor playspace and outdoor discovery areas foster strong indoor/outdoor and community connections.
